Light Grey High Gloss Kitchen

& Silestone Arden Blue Polished Worktops

Our clients wanted to move away from the traditional kitchen style in their lovely old building in Somerton, nr Bicester.  In order to revamp their living space with a fresh, modern look they chose painted and lacquered light grey high gloss J pull doors with aluminium coloured cabinets.  They completed the contemporary look with Silestone Arden Blue polished worktops.

We removed the old kitchen, retaining the range, and installed new units and a central island to optimise the available storage space.  The units around the range are built flush, and the Silestone upriser was fitted against the existing stone windowsill.

The Franke Centinox CMX160 undermount sink with a silk steel finish is accessorised with a Franke Panto stainless steel tap, and the Silestone worktop incorporates recessed draining grooves.

The water and heating pump is in the kitchen, so we custom built a tower to house this.  Throughout the kitchen you can see we carefully cut and shaped the units to fit the shape of the old walls, retaining the character of the building around the new and stylish fixtures and fittings.

Check out our well hidden but practical storage features, such as a magic corner in the corner unit, and the 3-drawer pack inside a 2-pan drawer fascia.

A total transformation and modernisation – now ready for flooring and decoration when the client is ready!
